Mica tape for cable |
Mica tape for cable consist of the heat-resistant phlogopite mica paper bonded to an electrical grade glass cloth or PE film as the supporting reinforce,impregnated with a specially selected high temperature resistant silicon resin.
For the excellent flame resistance characteristics,it has been widely used for power and control cables,instrumentation and signaling cables etc.Due to the very high flexibility and high tensile strength,this tape can be easily applied with high speed standard wrapping equipment. |

Application and characteristics
1, it is used for fire-resistant layer and temperature enhanced layer in the fire-resistant and high temperature-resistant cable.
2, it is the best quality fire proof and fire-resistant material.
3, cable with the synthetic mica tape single layer wrapping can continute the normal circuit operating with 3 hours at 1000°C
4, cable with the fire-resistant mica tape will not get fire because of the short circuit resulting from the heat of over load of the cable.
5, cable with fire-resistant mica tape will reduce and prevent from producing and releasing poisonous smoke and gas when burning.
6, it has good fire,acid,corona and irradiation-resistant characteristic.
7, it has completely non-flammable and heat-resistant performance. |
