| BP007 PTFE with graphite packing |
it was made from graphite-PTFE compound with lubricant. very good thermal conductivity. High flexibility and volumetric stability, no embrittlement or ageing. Universal resistance to chemicals with the exception of strongly oxidizing media such as oleum, fuming nitric acid and gaseous fluorine. Extremely wide range of uses in pumps (uncooled operation possible with hot water up to 160oC),agitators mixers and kneader centrifugal pumps, auto claves. for all types of industry. Long life with good operating efficiency. Gentle treatment of shafts. It seems GFO. Packing.

It is manufactured from continuous filament fiberglass yarn that has a chemical resistance. Each strand of fiberglass is treated with PTFE suspensoid and then, after it is braided, it is again treated with PTFE, an additional break-in lubricant is also incorporated. The combination of full lubrication and interbraided construction produces a square packing having better sealing contact with reduced gland pressure. |
